Nice John!  Thanks for this one!  The Beatles recorded this one ya know,  so  that makes it…classic rock!

ROCK Ain’t She Sweet came out in the Roaring 20s of Flapper Ladies  around the year of 1923

Steve,  I thought because the beatles recorded it,  it could be considered rock.  They did a really bad job of it.

I did not know the Beatles recorded it Your right Rock They recorded it , I remember it from my child hood , Grandpa ,Grandma and Mom and Dad memories And love the original music , With all due respect for each their own , but it will always be roaring 20s for me , I love the way John does it he’s right on . I hear my kids telling me from time to time about a brand new song they are into just to learn that its a old song remake , most of the time I do not burst there bubble I let them think its brand new unless I am singing it and they want to know why I am not doing it right , LOL then I tell them HA !

Steve,  no disrespect at all,  I like it the way it’s meant to be sung or played.  I was just kidding around!  🙂

I was not offended I believe in people doing there own thing although it hurts when they do it badly , Remember when Ben Coler did There goes my everything , He actually did a great job on it but at the same time ruined it , Cause I could not get out of my head there goes my batman ring and she stepped on my hand and so on , I am just now doing that song again the right way , I guess I need to word my response’s so people don’t think I am offended , Sometimes things don’t come out the way it was intended , I reread my post and it does sound somewhat grumpy sorry .

Steve,  your post sounded just fine.  You said… With all due respect for each their own…I thought you were trying to spare my feelings.  I like the same version you do!  🙂

I like it much better as a swing tune than the even-eights Beatles version. But, that’s probably because I heard the swing version first. There is actually a great version of the three remaining Beatles in the park, with Paul singing while George harmonizes and plays the uke. This is actually one of my favorite renditions.

Now that is much better than the first version!
