    Wow! Steve, that video brings back so many wonderful times playing and singing with my “north country” friends. The stage they’re all on is the one in the Parting Glass, a bar/restaurant in Saratoga Springs, NY.

    The ABL (Adirondack Bluegrass League) used to meet here once a month and I think they may still do so. I’ve opened here for Ralph Stanley twice and Don Stover; the Shenendoah Cutups; Bill Harrell, etc. over the years.

    I’ve played numerous times with Frank Wakefield, the older mandolinist in the video. I’ve also performed a lot with Nick Barr, the upright bassist.
