There are a few versions of these for different instruments. Make sure you get the one for a violin – it clamps on the violin body and not the headstock. It is really handy since it tunes off vibrations, not sound; and you can easily glance at it while playing, if needed. They are available online at several places.
Ok, thanks for letting me know the difference! that one is at a store that I like to support, but they do mostly banjo guitar and mandolin. It’s not something that I desperately need, as I already have a few clip on tuners, but I’m making an order at banjo Ben’s general store already, and if it was the same, I would have added it to my order.
