    Cricket I am not sure if it is specifically Christmas decorations or not. I looked at some other pictures and its just sorta leaves over the doorway with a strand of Christmas lights outlining the doorway.  There are a lot of decorations throughout the place. It is held at the E.H.Montgomery general store in Gold Hill, NC,

    It is a 4 hour drive for us so we only go about 3 times a year. The lady that runs the place is president of the NC Bluegrass Association. Mark and Maggie O’Conner showed up one night and joined the jam. Of course I missed that night  lol  It wasn’t advertised. . .just luck (or unluck) of the draw. It is a good jam and beginner friendly

    Wow, that was cool! I enjoyed the photo of the group with Mark O’Connor. What a special night!

    I recognized Alex Edwards. He was my brother Billy’s banjo student for years. His family is wonderful.
