Oh goodness, the Nashville shuffle is hard! So far that’s the only thing I’m struggling with. Is there a good way to practice just the shuffle?

Yes, Kaeleigh — “Old Joe Clark” and “Fire on the Mountain” are really good exercises for the Nashville Shuffle!

That’s how I got it getting down was with Old Jo Clark and fire on the mountain …And , John has a neat video on YouTube on how to play faster by shuffling, he plays the key of D first a cool super groove run and then teaches the whole pattern of the G scale ascending and descending I think I recall, that clip had me having John in my living room everyday for 2weeks non stop, me and John and shuffling those two patterns then I learned Old J C and FOTMountain .
Have fun Kaeleigh, you will get it! ????❤️
