So I’m a somewhat beginner violin player, and I’m teaching myself how to play. I’m working on learning harmonics, like when you just touch the string instead of pressing it, to make a higher note. I can do most of them on the open strings, but I don’t understand how to do them with fingering? So if I’m playing on the D string I can do the harmonic D, but how do I do a E or an F? Also my harmonics aren’t working very well on my E string. Does anyone know how to do this?
