This is a Fiddle Camp favorite. I know you will enjoy “Headlands!”
Do you happen to have the tablature showing the low notes like some of your other songs do? the 2L, and 1L, for example?
Thanks for this song, and all the others! Really enjoying this site!
Hello again…I think I know the reason why those 2L’s and 1L’s aren’t in the tabs…cause there aren’t any!! HA! ~obviously still learning…
Haha good call Beau. This one has none!
I love this wee song, John! Thanks a bunch for doing such a fine job with it!
Here is a video of an accordion player playing this fine tune.
Scott, Thanks for the post. Great accordion player, but for some reason I had a hard time adjusting to the timing!
John — Here is a video / sound clip of the Headlands March played with traditional Scottish march timing — probably because it is after all, a march. Go figure!
If you listen to the clip, keep your ears open for the third march called “Crusaders March”. I like that one but not as much as I like the Headlands March!
