    John Hartford’s “LORENA” is my favorite and I’m trying to duplicate it on my fiddle.   His banjo has caused me to dig out and clean up an old banjo that I’d retired decades ago.  This one of the few songs that he didn’t dance to while playing and I can understand how the CW troops (both sides) must have reacted to this song.   Very touching!
