    i can here maybe a little difference in the two tunes i like the scottish version a little better but i am ireish

    Everytime I come back to Bluegrass Daddy and try to learn some new Fiddle songs, I learn great history lessons from you John!!  I find it interesting how relevant these traditonal songs can still be in contemporary music.   It took me a few minutes to figure out why this sounded so familiar to me but then I realized this is the melody for Rod Stewart’s “Rhythm of my heart”!!

    Have loved this song for about as long as I can remember.   Have played it but  only in private.

    Maybe about time to see if anyone else cares for it.
