Ha thanks Gu. I have a go-to A run in that break that I need to teach here.

Gulp, yes please ?❤️?.Go to A run sounds gooooooood to me. I noticed in the Sunday Jams , when this one lady Raymonde, she always sings all her tunes in A, drives me into licks from Cotton eyed Joe both Bluegrass and country styles, then I throw in some Candy girl isms and even some old Joe Clark works a little bit , gets me going into 1/8note runs and puns. Loving it and all, and then they see that I have a trick or two in A but then she keeps playing in A , and they keep giving me the solos…In a nut shell ,I need some new stuff so I don t repeat myself.
I get away with improvising using tunes people up here don t know, but , essentially I d like to be able to get more original and or traditional and recently bought the IBook Hot Licks for bluegrass fiddle, and it s got niiiiice stuff in G and D and F even, haven’t got to the A part yet, looking forward to that and the great runs your rolling, walking running…
Thanks for all the good work, I am still very interested in skype lessons or FaceTime lessons with you if ever we get to it , it s tuff with all the work right now, but before 2016,sure would be nice to meet live ?❤️?????

Yeah Gu, we need to meet “Face to Face.” 🙂  It is my dream to just tab out a bunch of 2 and 4 measure licks in different keys. So much to do!

I love to hear reports of your jam sessions. Sad that the summer crowd is leaving, but there will always be an audience for good music. Hope to hear another other installment of you and the band in the Lion’s Den soon!
