    I’ve seen some versions calling this “Indian on a Stomp,” but the French title is “Sauvage sur le Chicot,” so definitely a stump. 🙂

    I’ve always gone from that tune right into “Black Mountain Rag”.

    They make great show pieces when put together.

    I love this tune! I’ve been wanting to learn something ‘oldtimey’ so I started learning it this afternoon- and it’s not as hard as I would have thought!
