September Starting

We are enjoying the last days of summer here - autumn comes quickly here in the mountains.  Our leaves are already changing and the apples are ripe for harvest.  

This past weekend, we played for a little country wedding ( just the Cockman brothers), and what a sweet wedding it was - beautiful mountains, BBQ, cowboy boots and a tractor!  It was simple and that made it all the more lovely.

We finished the weekend with an outdoor concert in Blowing Rock.  The rain did not hold off - as is often the case with concerts in Blowing Rock - but the crowd did hold on!  Blowing Rock is such a picturesque town - visit sometime if you can.  It's one of the prettiest places in the world.  Can you tell I'm biased?  🙂
