Songwriter’s Camp 2014

Cherokee Cove is a lovely Christian retreat and conference center nestled in the mountains of eastern Tennessee.  It is beautiful, peaceful and the food is unbelievable!  Each summer, Cherokee Cove hosts a songwriter's camp - a week of Bible study, songwriting, and music making.  John did a presentation on "The Anatomy of a Song" and sang several original songs to illustrate.  He also recorded the songs that were written during the week - a big project with over twenty people and all new material.  This took one day of recording and several days of engineering.  The recordings turned out beautifully.  This was a very talented group and a lot of fun to work with!
