BluegrassDaddy “Silent Night” video compilation project

Hi everyone! This is your chance to spread good Christmas cheer and to be a part of my "Silent Night" video compilation! Follow these simple steps to be a part of all the fun!

1) Learn Silent Night in the key of 'D'.
2) Set the metronome below to 110 Bpm (the same speed as my performance video). Make it just loud enough for you to play with. Using an ear bud is best.

3) Set up your camera and create a digital video of you playing at least one verse of the song.
4) If you feel confident enough, make a video of yourself playing the high and low harmony parts! Here is the sheet music:

5) Attach your video! I have upped the bandwidth on this topic to 50 Mb so  hopefully that will be enough for one verse of Silent Night. If you can't attach your video here, create an account on Vimeo or YouTube and upload the video, then send me the link at [email protected].

The deadline is December 1, because I want the song to be online the entire month of December. At that point I will merge and compile all of the videos into one. So start practicing! Don't wait until the deadline do do this -- try to get it finished by Thanksgiving! Please email me if you have questions or run into technical difficulties. I will help you as best I can.
